The 2*16 boards final was reduced by 2 borads each and converted to 2*14 boards final on request of both finalist teams. In a well fought final the Sunil Machhar team beat That's IT team by a olitary 4 IMPS. The scores were 71-67 (42-35, 29-32) in favour of the Sunil Machhar team. |

In the Open Pairs event, the strong 130 Pairs field was reduced to 64 pairs in the 2nd elimination round. The 2nd elimination was played yesterday morning in 2 sections of 16 tables each with scrambled Mitchell movement. The 28 TOP pairs qualified for the finals, where they were joined by 4 pairs of the losing semi-finalists of the team event. The 32 Pairs played the 32-board open pair final in the afternoon with Barometer scoring. |
